Pat's work involves the use of an extensive range of materials and techniques including mixed media and large canvases. Her masterly mature works involve bright and bold colour often arrayed beneath vast skies as semi-abstract vibrant images. She applies a sharply analytical eye to painting landscape which remains an overwhelming preoccupation.

Her art arises from a keen interest in the natural sciences and a total immersion in the rural scene, plus a talent for creating an image through an elegant economy of expression. Her aim is to convey her feelings and sense of awareness in the surrounding environment fluently and dynamically to produce a visually powerful statement.
